New Options for Breast Reconstruction

Experts Say Many Breast Cancer Survivors Are Uninformed About the Choices

Sept. 17, 2008 -- About 78,000 U.S. women undergo a mastectomy each year, but just 57,100 had breast reconstruction in 2007, according to experts speaking at a web seminar hosted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

For a minority of women, reconstruction of the breast after a cancer diagnosis is simply not important, says Roberta Gartside, MD, a Virginia plastic surgeon and breast cancer survivor who spoke.

But other women, says Gartside, are not fully informed of their options, face financial barriers, or both.

These obstacles exist, Gartside and other speakers say, even though insurance coverage for post-mastectomy breast reconstruction is mandated by the 1998 Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act. more

More about Orangecarbon collective and me;

Orangecarbon studio , is a private, small in house studio located at Kenmore Heights just few blocks north of Bothellway NE, SR522.

My own understanding of yoga started years ego in NYC ABT and University of Tennessee where My group was required to do 20 minuts of yoga for dance warm up before Modern routines.
I had no idea about the more advanced second nature effects of yoga and what it was doing to me intrinsically.

Once I realized I dont need sedatives to go through my dental procedures and had tolerance for lots of things mental or physical, I realized that I have gone through an unusual transformation without my own knowledge.

My mind and body had separated and could operate independently as two sperate entities..!

Now at PNW, I have developed my own style and some people are listening and wanting to learn it. more

 Growth and Yoga lecture serries

Growth will happen regardless.
Though growth can be +/-linear or circular..
Emotional cultures grow circular however they avoid negative growth.
Logical cultures will grow linear but their growth can become negative as well.
Best is balanced growth.
Emotions will safeguard us from growing linear negative and logic will maintain positive linear growth.
